Description

Our 26-27 cm Tara Buddha Singing Bowl features the fully enlightened female Bodhisattva or deity Tara Buddha. She symbolises the soul of love and compassion. She is considered as "the mother of all Buddhas", in Buddhism. According to the monks, the Tara mantra Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha, when chanted a couple of times repeatedly in the event of problems, is believed to protect the individuals from negative fears and bring a sense of peace, courage and compassion within self.

The Tara Buddha singing bowl is surrounded by beautiful and intricate Tibetan symbols and motifs and repetitive Tibetan Mandalas in the inner and outer walls, and outer base of the singing bowl. Tibetan symbols and motifs are one of the most complex iconographies in any religion. Each of them hold a deep and spiritual significance in Tibetan Buddhism. The Tibetan Mandalas are genereally depicted as a geometric composition wherein deities reside. The main deity is housed in the center. The mandala serves as a tool for guiding individuals along the path to enlightenment.

The singing bowl is meticulously hand-hammered, tuned, polished, and etched with intricate detail by our Newari artisans in Nepal. The sound of the bowl is tested thoughtfully to meet the highest standards. It takes a long time to craft the bowl. It is made of high-quality bronze.

The singing bowl measures 26-27 cm in diameter, weighing 2.1 kg. The singing bowl set includes a traditional wooden mallet striker and a soft cushion for its support.

The singing bowl is perfect for deep meditation, sound therapy, sound healing or any spiritual occasion and practice, offering soothing tones to relax the mind. It also makes a thoughtful gift for your loved ones.

To learn a bit more about singing bowls, here is some information that can be helpful.

Sound

The sound of the singing bowls are recorded using our Red Wool Head Mallet Striker, our Lingam Mallet Striker, or both by striking and rimming the bowl to give you a real feel for its sound.

Care

To keep your handmade singing bowl sounding beautiful and lasting for years, a little mindful care makes all the difference. Gently wipe it from time to time using a soft fiber cloth with lukewarm or cold water. Avoid chemical cleaners or abrasive materials that could damage its surface. Store your singing bowl in a dust-free space, and always handle it with care. Never drop or strike it on hard surfaces. With a bit of love and attention, your singing bowl will remain a trusted companion in your meditation, sound healing, or spiritual practice.

My warmest recommendation. I had been looking for a singing bowl for a long time, but it can be difficult online. However, Prajaya made the decision and purchase safe and easy. When I had a few final questions, I wrote them an email, which was answered quickly and in detail. I have now received the bowl, and the quality and sound are excellent. THANK YOU
