This Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) is sustainably sourced from northern Ecuador. The Palo Santo logs are imported and hand-chopped by our Danish partner, Piv, who also hand-stamps each piece with a beautiful crescent moon.
This product is FairWild certified, ensuring buyers receive legally, ethically, and sustainably harvested Palo Santo. It is also fair trade, meaning the benefits extend to everyone involved, including the local communities who harvest the wood.
Our Palo Santo comes from a family-owned farm in the northern highlands of Ecuador, where generations have sustainably lived off Palo Santo sales. The wood is gathered from the forest floor, ensuring no living trees are cut. It is then carefully stored to dry for 4–10 years before being shipped to Denmark.
Each piece of Palo Santo is locally hand-chopped, making it unique in shape, length, and appearance, while maintaining consistent quality in both scent and decorative appeal. Pieces are always between 17–20 cm in length.
Use your Palo Santo as you wish—for daily rituals, aromatherapy, or simply as a decorative item. With this product, you’re guaranteed a natural, sustainable, and beautiful addition to your routine.
