Description

This bronze singing bowl is decorated with intricate geometric designs and revered Tibetan mantra and symbols on its lip. The inner center of the singing bowl's base is etched with the quintessential Vishvavajra symbol or the crossed vajra, representing the principle of absolute stability, characterised by the solidity of the element earth, while the outer base carries one of the eight auspicious symbols which is the White Conch Shell, symbolising religious sovereignty and an emblem which fearlessly proclaimed the truth of dharma.

This singing bowl is a harmonious blend of symbolism and craftsmanship, measuring 19.7cm in diameter (Ø) and weighing 1.113kg.

Handcrafted by our Newari artisans in Nepal, the singing bowl merges age-old techniques with a rich appreciation for its ceremonial importance. The bowl acts as a powerful tool for calming and introspective practices.

The singing bowl set includes a wooden mallet / striker and a soft cushion, providing everything that you need for a complete meditative experience.

Sound

The White Conch Shell Singing Bowl, rings at F note, which resonates with the Heart Chakra, promoting love, emotional healing, and inner harmony, making it ideal for sound healing, compassion, and energy balancing when struck with a suede mallet.

The tone of the singing bowl are based on the scale 432 Hz. The sound recording is made by striking with our Red Wool Head Mallet Striker and rimming with our Lingam Mallet Striker.
